Tahmoor Inn is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. If you take pride in keeping spaces clean, organised, and welcoming, we would love to hear from you!

As a Housekeeping Team Member at Tahmoor Inn, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our motel rooms and facilities. This includes ensuring guest rooms are fully stocked, clean, and ready to provide a welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Laundry Duties

- Wash and fold chefs’ tea towels, aprons, and bar towels.
- Sort and wash motel towels using appropriate detergents.
- Prepare sheets and linens for laundry pick-up.

Room Cleaning and Stocking:

- Strip beds and re-stock rooms with fresh supplies
- Clean bathrooms, make beds, vacuum, and mop.
- Dust and remove cobwebs.

General Maintenance:





- Check and report any damages in rooms or items requiring repair.
- Periodically clean screen doors and empty large bins outside rooms.

Other Tasks:

- Re-stock housekeeping trolley for the next day.
- Clean dryer lint filters and ensure all doors are locked.
- Update the housekeeping register in the computer system, ensuring all room statuses are accurate.

The ideal candidate will:

- Have a solid attention to detail and take pride in their work.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Have basic computer skills to update housekeeping records.
- Be physically fit, as the role involves manual tasks.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential.
