Location: Subiaco, Perth

Salary: $100,000-$125,000 + Super (Full-Time Equivalent)

This is a rare opportunity to establish and shape the HR function for the Australian operations of Powerfleet, a growing global technology organisation operating across fleet intelligence, vehicle telematics, safety solutions and software integration.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, with a dotted line into the global HR leadership team, this newly created role will become the primary HR presence for Australia. You will partner closely with leaders and employees to strengthen culture, improve employee experience and build scalable people practices that support future growth.

Following the integration of multiple businesses, the organisation is now focused on creating consistency across contracts, systems, policies, onboarding and employee experience. As the first dedicated HR qualified in the region, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful impact while building trusted relationships across the business.

Responsibilities:

- Acting as the primary HR contact for employees across Australia
- Building trust and credibility across all levels of the organisation
- Managing HRIS data integrity and employee records
- Supporting payroll consolidation and HR administration processes
- Reviewing, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Designing and improving onboarding and induction programs
- Managing recruitment administration and agency relationships
- Providing advice on employee relations and performance matters
- Supporting culture, engagement and retention initiatives
- Partnering with leaders on workforce planning and people strategy
- Collaborating with the global HR team to align regional and global initiatives

Candidate profile: You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys building structure, improving processes and supporting people through periods of change. You are equally comfortable operating strategically and rolling up your sleeves to manage operational priorities.





You bring warmth, professionalism and resilience to your work. You enjoy helping people succeed, are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can confidently uphold ethical and people-focused decisions when required.

- HR degree, qualification or professional certification
- Strong HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle
- Experience supporting organisations through change or transformation
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace practices
- Strong HRIS capability and systems experience
- Experience managing employee relations and performance matters
- Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational and communication skills
