Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support the protected delivery of water treatment, environmental remediation and infrastructure projects across NSW and the ACT.

Working across both Major Projects and Operations divisions, the successful candidate will provide practical HSE support to project teams, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality management requirements.

The role offers a combination of site and office-based responsibilities, with regular travel across NSW and the ACT. You will join an established team with strong safety management systems and the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide HSE advice and support across water treatment, civil infrastructure and environmental remediation projects.
- Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of HSE management systems, policies and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, ISO standards and relevant safety requirements.
- Work closely with project managers,



site teams and subcontractors to promote safe working practices.
- Assist with the development and review of SWMS, risk assessments and project-specific HSE documentation.
- Support safety training, toolbox talks and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor HSE performance, reporting and compliance across multiple project sites.

Required Experience

- Qualification in Work Health and Safety (Certificate IV or Diploma preferred).
- Previous HSE experience across civil construction, water infrastructure, environmental remediation or mining projects.
- Good understanding of WHS legislation, ISO management systems and relevant safety regulations.
- Experience conducting site inspections, risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
- Australian Citizenship and a current driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel across NSW and the ACT as required.
- ICAM training, environmental or quality management experience, and additional safety qualifications would be advantageous.
