Impartiality Committee Member (External), part time and remote
AAA Certification Services Pty Ltd (AAAcs), Bankstown NSW
AAAcs is a new certification body seeking JAS-ANZ accreditation to certify organisations to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. We’re looking for an independent skilled to join our Impartiality Committee and help make sure our certification decisions are fair, objective and free from conflicts of interest.
What you’ll do
- Attend committee meetings, at least 1–2 per year, online or in person
- Review our impartiality risk assessments and conflict of interest records
- Give independent advice on our policies and practices that affect impartiality
- Help make sure no commercial, financial or other pressure affects our certification decisions
About you
- 5+ years of experience in management systems, auditing, compliance, regulation, industry or consumer representation
- A good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021-1 is highly regarded.
- Independence from AAAcs: no current or recent (past 2 years) consulting, employment or financial links with AAAcs or its clients
- Good judgement and integrity, and confidence to give honest, independent views
- Willingness to sign confidentiality and conflict of interest declarations
- Membership of a professional body (e.g. Engineers Australia, Exemplar Global, CQI-IRCA, AIHS) is desirable
