Lockyer Valley Regional Council is currently seeking expressions of interest to fill the role of Independent Member on its Audit and Risk Management Committee. ?

Role Overview

✅Provide independent assurance and assistance to Council in areas such as financial reporting, internal and external audit, risk management, project management and other internal control and compliance frameworks.

⏳3-year appointment, with an chance to extend for an additional 3 years subject to performance review.

? Quarterly meetings (minimum)

Eligibility Requirements

? Must be independent from Council. Former employees and Councillors are not eligible to apply (5-year exclusion period applies).

? Must have experience in corporate governance and strategy, risk management, project management, internal and external auditing, legal and regulatory compliance.

Remuneration

?Per meeting (excluding GST), inclusive of travel and preparation.
