About the role

We're looking for an organised, friendly internal salesperson to be the first point of contact for our customers and the backbone of our sales team. You'll support our sales reps, answer phone and email enquiries, book service jobs, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Key responsibilities

- Answer the phones and take customer enquiries by phone, email and in person, helping with pricing and product questions
- Take job bookings and coordinate service and breakdown jobs with our operations and field service team
- Support the sales team with quotes, follow-ups, order entry and paperwork
- Look after general admin, including filing, data entry and keeping customer and job records up to date in HubSpot and our job system
- Follow up quotes and enquiries, including leads from our website and Facebook
- Serve counter and walk-in customers when needed
- Work with purchasing on stock and product availability
- Check in with existing customers about servicing and repeat business
- Help out at field days and events from time to time

About you

- Experience in customer service, sales support or internal sales
- Confident and friendly on the phone
- Organised and reliable, and able to juggle a busy workload




- Comfortable with computers and learning new systems
- Clear communication and good attention to detail
- A background in pumps, irrigation, agriculture, rural supplies, plumbing or a trade
- Experience with HubSpot or another CRM, or with quoting systems
- Some mechanical or technical understanding, or a willingness to learn
- A current driver's licence

About us W&P; Pumps is a pumping, irrigation and water infrastructure business based in Kyabram. We supply, build, install and service pumping systems for farms, contractors, councils, industry and homes across Northern Victoria and Southern NSW. Our work ranges from domestic pressure pumps and bore pumps to diesel pump packages, pump stations, HDPE pipelines, and Pierce centre pivots and lateral irrigators.

Our field service team keeps customers' systems running, especially through irrigation season. We're a practical, hands-on team that looks after our customers, and we're growing.
