/n POSITION: IT Officer – Full-time /n /n Salamah College, an Islamic, independent, and comprehensive coeducational K-12 college, is dedicated to providing a caring and personalized education for young Australian Muslims. Established in 2012, Salamah College has grown significantly, now welcoming over 1,400 students. /n /n Position Overview: /n /n Salamah College is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Officer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a supportive educational environment while managing and enhancing our technology infrastructure. /n /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n Technical Support: /n /n
- Use FreshService to handle incoming tickets and requests
/n
- Troubleshoot Windows devices, iPads, and network/software issues
/n
- Escalate complex problems as needed
/n /n Systems Administration: /n /n
- Maintain and update Moodle and Sentral
/n
- Manage Microsoft Azure and Office 365 accounts and settings
/n
- Perform routine system checks and updates
/n /n Communication & Training: /n /n
- Clearly explain technical processes to non-technical staff and students
/n
- Develop user guides and provide basic training sessions
/n /n Time Management: /n /n
- Efficiently prioritize multiple open tickets in a fast-paced workplace
/n
- Track and follow up on issues to ensure timely resolution
/n /n Community Engagement: /n /n
- Support school programs and events
/n
- Foster a positive, tech-friendly culture
/n /n /n Key Selection Criteria: /n /n 1.
Qualifications & Experience /n /n
- TAFE/university IT qualification (completed or near completion)
/n
- Relevant IT support experience, preferably with FreshService
/n /n 2.
Technical
Proficiency /n /n
- Proficient with Windows, iPads, LMS (Moodle, Sentral), and cloud platforms (Azure, Office 365)
/n
- Basic networking and IT security knowledge
/n /n 3. Communication & Time Management /n /n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple support tasks
