Talent Locker is partnering with a well-established, highly regulated organisation in Wollongong to appoint a senior leader for its IT operations and infrastructure function.

What you'll own

- Team: lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning infrastructure, systems, security and service desk
- Strategy: set the IT operations and infrastructure strategy and connect it to business outcomes
- Architecture:



own target-state architecture and multi-year roadmaps across infrastructure, cloud and workplace technology
- Service: own IT service management, asset management and continuous improvement
- Money and partners: run the operations budget, drive cost optimisation, and lead sourcing and key vendor relationships
- Risk: manage lifecycle planning and technical debt in a highly regulated environment

What you'll bring

- Tertiary qualification in IT
- 10 years in IT, with 3 years leading teams across strategy, budgeting and staffing
- A record of driving significant change and delivering outcomes
- Robust business cases behind your strategic thinking
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complex topics
