About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in estimating and construction. Working closely with senior management team, you will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for plumbing projects across Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with reviewing project plans, specifications, and tender documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost calculations
- Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare and maintain tender documentation
- Support the preparation of quotations and estimates
- Update databases and project records
- Liaise with managers, suppliers, and clients as required
- Assist in the handover of successful projects to the operations team
- Maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers and reps
- Complete orders with suppliers prior to projects commencing

About you

- Previous experience in construction, plumbing, estimating, or administration is preferred
- Qualification or studies in Construction Management, Building, Engineering,



Plumbing, or a related field is advantageous
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the construction industry
