We work with corporate clients to create thoughtful, customised experiences that help businesses celebrate, connect and engage with their people, clients and communities.

About the Role Miei is seeking a highly organised, polished and client-focused Customer Account Manager to manage, nurture and grow our existing portfolio of approximately 50 corporate accounts while actively developing new business opportunities.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will deliver an exceptional end-to-end client experience, building strong relationships and managing projects seamlessly from initial brief through to creative proposal, approval, execution and follow-up.

Working closely with our creative, production, floristry, operations and accounts teams, you will be a trusted point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing thoughtful, creative solutions aligned with their objectives, brand and budget.

Beyond managing existing accounts, you will proactively identify new opportunities, seek referrals and introductions, build relationships with prospective clients and establish new corporate partnerships to support Miei’s continued growth.

This is a relationship-led role for someone who is intuitive, commercially minded, proactive and passionate about delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Relationship & Account Management • Manage approximately 50 existing corporate accounts, developing trusted, long-term relationships with key contacts.

- Act as the primary point of contact, providing responsive, qualified service.
- Schedule regular meetings and check-ins to understand upcoming requirements, objectives and opportunities.
- Obtain detailed briefs, establish budgets, clarify expectations and confirm timelines.
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen relationships, increase engagement, improve retention and grow accounts.
- Anticipate client needs and provide thoughtful recommendations rather than simply responding to requests.
- Creative Proposals & End-to-End Project Management • Translate client briefs into tailored concepts and creative proposals for consideration.
- Work with the creative team to develop customised designs, presentations, product selections and activation concepts.
- Present recommendations that balance creativity, practicality, budget and client objectives.
- Manage projects from initial brief and proposal through to approval, ordering, production, delivery and installation.
- Take ownership from start to finish, ensuring a seamless client experience and high-quality execution.
- Corporate Activations & Seasonal Planning • Guide clients on suitable approaches for corporate activations, events and seasonal campaigns.
- Proactively plan for key occasions including Easter, Mother’s Day, Christmas and other relevant corporate events.
- Recommend gifting, hampers, florals, installations and branded experiences appropriate to each client’s requirements.
- Encourage forward planning by providing creative inspiration and practical advice regarding budgets, lead times and available options.
- Develop annual account plans identifying key dates and opportunities to engage clients throughout the year.

- Business Development & New Client Acquisition • Actively identify, nurture and develop new opportunities to expand Miei’s corporate client base.
- Take a strategic approach to prospecting, targeting suitable corporate clients, commercial buildings and organisations aligned with Miei’s services.
- Leverage existing relationships to generate referrals, introductions and recommendations to corporate contacts, building managers, concierge teams and decision-makers.
- Confidently ask clients about their professional networks and opportunities for introductions to other organisations, buildings and relevant contacts.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients, consistently following up on enquiries, referrals and introductions.
- Identify opportunities to introduce Miei’s corporate gifting, hampers, florals, events and brand activation services to new organisations and buildings.
- Arrange introductory meetings, understand prospective clients’ requirements and present tailored solutions that demonstrate Miei’s value and capabilities.
- Work with the General Manager to identify target markets, prioritise opportunities and support Miei’s broader business development strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective clients, referrals, introductions, follow-ups and business development activity.

Business development is an ongoing part of this role. The successful candidate will balance nurturing existing accounts with attracting new clients and expanding Miei’s presence across Melbourne’s corporate and commercial property sector.

- On-Site Client Support & Quality Assurance • Attend client sites as required to oversee installations, activations and event set-ups.
- Liaise with concierge teams, building management and stakeholders regarding access, logistics and installation requirements.
- Review installations to ensure they reflect the approved concept, agreed brief and Miei’s standards of quality, presentation and professionalism.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly and professionally in collaboration with relevant internal teams.
- Follow up with clients after events and installations to obtain feedback, assess satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
- Order Management & Administration • Raise and manage client orders accurately, including products, quantities, pricing, delivery details and project specifications.
- Coordinate with accounts to ensure invoices are issued accurately and promptly.
- Monitor orders, approvals, deadlines and delivery schedules.
- Ensure internal teams receive all information required to deliver projects efficiently.
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

You enjoy bringing ideas to life, providing thoughtful recommendations and managing the details that turn a good concept into a seamless client experience. You take ownership, follow through on commitments and understand that exceptional account management is about more than responding to requests - it is about anticipating needs, creating opportunities and building relationships that last.

You are equally comfortable nurturing established client relationships and stepping outside your comfort zone to develop new ones. You recognise the value of a warm introduction, are confident asking clients for referrals and understand that consistent, professional follow-up is essential to building a strong new-business pipeline.

- Above all, you are skilled, proactive, disciplined with your time and motivated to contribute to Miei’s growth through outstanding service and meaningful, long-term corporate partnerships.
