The HMC Group has extensive aviation, tourism, and accommodation operations in some of the most iconic regions of Australia and is seeking to appoint a Kimberley Experiences Travel Coordinator to join the team at our Perth or Kununurra offices.

About the role:

As a Kimberley Experiences Travel Coordinator, you will use local knowledge of the Kimberley region and the broad range of HMC Group’s products to design unforgettable, personalised travel itineraries.

Key duties and responsibilities:

- Answering guest phone and email enquiries for holiday itineraries and day tours.

- Prepare proposed itineraries and quotes to convert into bookings.

- Book tours and accommodation using a variety of applications and emails.

- Upsell and promote HMC Group products.

- Use Microsoft Excel to calculate gross and nett cost of itineraries, as well as record guest itinerary revenue.

- Maintain and file booking confirmations and maintain register of guests’ booking confirmations.

- Trouble shoot and replan itineraries when tours are cancelled.

- Deal with customer complaints in an effective and professional manner.

- Continuous development of Kimberley Experiences product knowledge, seeking the latest suppliers for new website itineraries.

About you:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

- Working knowledge of the Kimberley Tourism region.

- An excellent guest-centric mindset.

- Robust finical acumen and mathematic skills.

- Highly developed communication skills and warm demeanour.

- A high level of competency in Microsoft Office suite.

- Ability to maximise efficiencies using AI tools.





- Excellent organisational skills and high level of attention to detail.

- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
