Established in 1972, Cairns Community Kindergarten is a warm, inclusive and child-centred community kindergarten with a beautiful connection to families and strong community governance. We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Kindergarten Teacher/ Co-Director to join our dedicated team and help shape the next chapter of our Kindergarten's story.

This position includes
- Teaching responsabilities: delivering a high quality, child-centered, play-based program.
- Co-Director responsabilities: shared leadership, compliance, quality improvement and communtiy engagement.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent
- Current QCT registration
- Early childhood teaching experience
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Passion for high-quality, play-based learning
- Knowledge of
- National Quality Framework (NQF)
- National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Early Year Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG)
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis)
- Current Blue Card
- Completion of National Child Safety Training (Foundation & Advanced) prior to or shortly after commencement
- Experience with C&K; (desirable but not essential)

- Attractive remuneration under our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement:
- Salary range: from $39,713.- to $64,898.- (pro rata/ per year)
- Early Childhood Teacher Retention Subsidy: up to $9,583 per year
