About the role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator & Designer to join our team in a casual role, starting at 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to grow as the business develops. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating both CO₂ and fibre laser machines, strong design skills using Adobe Illustrator, and the ability to manage product listings on our website.

Key responsibilities

- Create and edit designs using Adobe Illustrator

- Operate CO₂ and fibre laser machines safely and efficiently

- Prepare and adjust artwork for laser engraving and cutting

- Ensure all designs and finished products meet high-quality standards

- Maintain excellent attention to detail throughout the design and production process

- Update product images, descriptions, and other information on our website





- Confidently navigate the website to manage and maintain accurate product listings

- Assist with general production tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately

About you

- Proven experience using Adobe Illustrator for design work

- Practical experience operating both CO₂ and fibre laser machines

- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- Confidence using websites and online platforms to update product information and images

- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines

- Reliable, organised, and motivated, with a positive attitude
