- Have a forklift licence for your contribution now and then, as needed (NOT hi-reach)

- Car owner/driver, or local to Lane Cove, as transport is limited (bus not train)

- Genuine and open, team player who can show initiative and common sense

- Permanent Resident or Citizen

THE ROLE

- Daily shipping involvement - Process & prepare orders for dispatch, including overseas





- Handle the complete process from booking FedEx etc to recording track nos. in Odoo (not used it? support provided and you'll pick it up if you are the computer-literate candidate we need).

- Co-ordinate daily courier collections, and all aspects of freight/follow-ups, updating customers etc.

- HAWB/SLI documents: prep and check, along with Certificates of Origin, customs, etc. etc.

- Receive stock; put away; update system, report discrepancies etc.

- Monitor stock levels and liaise with Purchasing/Logistics Manager

- Prepare orders including protective packing, checking a 100% match against customer's remit; quality checks

- Delegate tasks as you settle in to a storeperson/forklift driver

- Perform roughly 60% computer/documentation/admin tasks -vs- 40% hands-on physical stores work, including forklift. But no two days are the same, so being adaptable and across all aspects of this modern warehouse is mandatory.
