Responsibilities

As a Logistics Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing logistics strategies to support the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment for Solar and BESS projects.
- Coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure efficient procurement and transportation processes.
- Managing inventory levels, storage, and distribution to meet project timelines and requirements.
- Overseeing the import/export processes, including customs clearance and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Monitoring and optimizing transportation routes and methods to minimize costs and environmental impact.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align logistics operations with project goals.
- Identifying and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions or delays.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance metrics.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management,



preferably within the renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, transportation management, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with the logistics requirements of large-scale Solar and BESS projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.

Day-to-Day

On a typical day, you will:
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and arrange for the replenishment of materials as needed.
- Review and approve transportation plans, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Address any logistical challenges or delays, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Communicate with project teams to provide updates on material availability and delivery schedules.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Conduct site visits to assess logistics operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
