About the role

Vicpro Security Pty Ltd, a leading security services provider is currently seeking experienced Loss Prevention Officers (Covert Operatives) to support our valued clients. Positions are available in Part-Time capacity.

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for detecting and investigating incidents of shoplifting, theft, and fraud within retail environments. The role involves monitoring customer and staff activity, identifying suspicious behaviour, and working closely with store management and law enforcement to protect company assets and ensure a safe shopping experience.

What you'll be doing

1. Detection and Apprehension of offenders

2. Working in collaboration with Clients and Police

3. Support Client team members and other security services at all times.

4. Be a Deterrent of theft and report missing assets.

5. Respond to emergency situations.

6. Identify risks and provide mitigation feedback
7. The ability and confidence to work both autonomously and in a team setting.

8. Frequently produce accurate reports

What we're looking for

- Current Victorian Security License

- First Aid Certificate

- Proven experience in the Loss Prevention and/or Retail industry.

- Excellent Situational Awareness and Observation skills.

- Ability to identify Patterns and Potential behaviors leading to theft.

- Excellent level of self presentation and grooming standards.





- A Positive and Proactive Approach to the day to day situations.

- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution.

- Evening & Weekend availability.

- Robust written communication skills, including incident report writing.

- Ability to time manage and work autonomously in high paced team environment.

- High Attention to detail.

- Part-time positions available.
