We're looking for experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our growing mechanical team in Kalgoorlie.

If you're a qualified LV Mechanic who enjoys a bit of variety, takes pride in doing the job properly and wants a roster that gives you a good balance between work and home, we'd like to hear from you.

We're offering a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, with residential applicants preferred. FIFO options are also available for the right people.

About the role

You'll be carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of light vehicles and supporting equipment used throughout the mining and resources industry.

The work offers plenty of variety, from routine servicing and repairs through to fault finding, breakdowns and more involved mechanical work.

We're looking for mechanics who are comfortable working independently when needed but also enjoy being part of a team that helps each other out.

Key Responsibilities

- Servicing, maintenance and repairs of light vehicles, 4WDs and site support vehicles.
- Mechanical diagnostics, fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Identifying faults and recommending practical repair solutions.
- Completing job cards, service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Working safely and maintaining good workshop and housekeeping standards.
- Supporting the wider mechanical team when required.

- $55–$70 per hour + super | $60 - $80 per hour casual rate

What we’re looking for

- Australian recognised Light Vehicle Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Previous experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing light vehicles and 4WDs.
- Experience working with mining fleet vehicles and site support equipment highly regarded.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (minimum C Class).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Valuable communication skills and a reliable attitude.
- Someone who takes pride in their work and is willing to lend a hand when needed.
