Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Sheet Metal Machine Operator / Duct Fabricator to join a manufacturing team in Acacia Ridge, with an immediate start available.
Pay and hours
- $35-$37 per hour, depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 am-2:00 pm.
- Occasional 5:00 am starts, based on production requirements.
- Potential overtime available.
About the role
- Operate sheet metal machinery to manufacture metal ducting.
- Cut, bend, shape and assemble sheet metal components.
- Work from measurements and production instructions to fabricate ductwork.
- Check finished components for accuracy and quality.
- Use hand and power tools to complete fabrication tasks.
- Handle materials safely and maintain a clean, organised work area.
About you
- Previous experience operating sheet metal machinery or fabricating ductwork.
- Confident using hand and power tools.
- Solid attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physically capable of completing manual handling duties.
- Reliable and available for early starts and overtime when required.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
