We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a foundry in Adelaide.

This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified fitter with a robust background in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments who enjoys hands-on maintenance and keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently.

The Role

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for the preventative and breakdown maintenance of heavy industrial and manufacturing equipment.

Your duties will include

- Preventative and reactive maintenance of plant and equipment
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Hydraulic maintenance and repairs
- Maintenance and replacement of conveyors and associated components
- Gearbox maintenance, repairs and replacements
- Mechanical repairs and equipment servicing
- Identifying potential equipment issues and carrying out corrective maintenance
- Supporting production to minimise downtime
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Completing maintenance records and following site procedures

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Fitter / Mechanical Fitter




- Previous experience working in a heavy industrial, manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong hands-on experience with hydraulics
- Experience working with conveyors
- Experience with gearboxes and mechanical power transmission
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team
- Good communication and a practical, hands-on approach

- Saturday morning work paid with applicable penalty rates
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 6:00am–4:00pm
- Every Sunday & Monday off
- Saturday morning 6:00am–12:00pm
