About the Company

Casey's Venture Holdings Pty Ltd, trading as Casey's Linen Service, is a Perth-based linen services business located at 38 Chariton Street, Perth WA 6000. The company is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support the efficient operation and maintenance of its machinery, equipment and operational assets.

About the Position The Maintenance Planner will plan, schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs to minimise equipment downtime and support the smooth delivery of linen services. The role involves coordinating maintenance resources, monitoring equipment performance and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

· Plan, Develop, implement and maintain preventative and planned maintenance schedules for laundry processing machinery, linen handling equipment and other operational assets.

· Plan and coordinate routine servicing, inspections, repairs and maintenance activities to support the reliable operation of business equipment.

· Prepare maintenance job plans, work orders and schedules, prioritising work according to equipment condition, operational requirements and maintenance needs.

· Coordinate planned equipment downtime to minimise disruption to linen processing, workflow and customer service commitments.

· Liaise with maintenance technicians, equipment operators, external contractors and suppliers to arrange servicing, repairs and technical support.

· Assess maintenance requests, equipment faults and breakdown reports to determine priorities and coordinate appropriate maintenance responses.

· Monitor equipment performance, recurring faults, service intervals and maintenance history to identify potential reliability issues and opportunities for improvement.

· Coordinate the availability of spare parts, consumables, tools, equipment and other resources required to complete planned maintenance activities.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment registers, service histories,



inspection reports and work order documentation.

· Monitor outstanding maintenance tasks and follow up on scheduled work to ensure completion within required timeframes.

· Review maintenance expenditure, resource requirements and equipment downtime, and prepare reports to assist management with operational planning and maintenance decisions.

· Use computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS), spreadsheets or other relevant systems to record, schedule and track maintenance activities.

· Coordinate adjustments to maintenance schedules in response to urgent breakdowns, changing operational priorities or equipment servicing requirements.

· Ensure maintenance activities are coordinated in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements, relevant regulations, manufacturer recommendations and company procedures.

· Identify opportunities to improve preventative maintenance practices, equipment reliability, resource utilisation and the overall efficiency of linen service operations.

Skills and Attributes

· Relevant experience in maintenance planning, scheduling or coordinating equipment maintenance.

· A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Maintenance Management or a closely related discipline.

· Knowledge of preventative maintenance principles, equipment servicing and maintenance scheduling.

· Experience using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar recordkeeping tools.

· Solid organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to coordinate technicians, contractors, suppliers and maintenance resources effectively.

· Good communication skills and an understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Employment Type

Full-time, permanent.

Salary

$80,000 –$90,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours or weekend work as required by operational and maintenance schedules.
