About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Trade Assistant to join our Property Team in a permanent full-time capacity, commencing as soon as possible. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. Working across our extensive school campuses and facilities, you will support the maintenance, presentation and functionality of our learning and community spaces. From carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance to assisting with school events and facility set-ups, you will play an important role in ensuring our campus remains safe, welcoming and operational for students, staff and visitors.

About You

You are a practical problem solver who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. With a positive attitude and strong customer service focus, you can manage competing priorities and respond effectively to a range of maintenance tasks.

Ideally, you will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Carpentry, tiling, bricklaying, plastering or general building maintenance
- Repairs and maintenance within commercial, educational or facilities-based environments
- Using digital work order systems and cloud-based maintenance applications
- Operating iPads, PCs and technology to manage and track maintenance requests
- Working independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
- A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach to work
- A current Class C Driver's Licence
