Management Accountant | Not-for-Profit | Hybrid | Temp-to-Perm

Join a well-established not-for-profit organisation offering a broad Management Accountant role with exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.

The Opportunity:

FourQuarters are partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation within the education sector to recruit a Management Accountant.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this is a fantastic prospect for a technically strong accountant who enjoys a combination of hands-on financial accounting, management reporting and financial analysis.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities and identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.

- Review P&L; and balance sheet accounts, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.

- Prepare monthly financial and management reports, providing meaningful insights into business performance.

- Analyse variances against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and areas requiring attention.





- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with senior management.

- Calculate and reconcile government grants and funding streams.

- Assist with financial systems improvements, reporting automation and process efficiencies.

- Develop and maintain management reports and Power BI dashboards.

- Support external audit requirements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant or similar role.

- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and complex formulas.

- Exposure to ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with financial and non-financial stakeholders.

- CA/CPA qualifications will be highly regarded but are not essential.
