Marine Cabinet Maker – Luxury Superyacht Interiors
Silver Yachts Australia – Bibra Lake, WA
Full-Time | Above Award Rates | Monthly RDO | Monday–Friday | Immediate Start Available
Put your cabinet-making skills to work on something extraordinary.
Are you an experienced Marine Cabinet Maker or Joiner who takes pride in precision workmanship and wants to work in a specialised marine environment?
Silver Yachts Australia manufactures and installs custom, high-end interior fit-outs for luxury superyachts. Based at our Bibra Lake workshop, our team produces cabinetry and interior components built to meet the exacting requirements of marine projects.
We’re looking for a skilled Marine Cabinet Maker to help manufacture, finish and install bespoke cabinetry for superyacht interiors. You’ll work with quality materials, detailed vessel drawings and an experienced team where accuracy, finish and attention to detail are essential.
Marine experience is highly regarded, but not essential. If you’re a strong cabinet maker or joiner with the right attitude and a willingness to learn, we’re interested in hearing from you.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll contribute to the manufacture and installation of custom marine cabinetry and interior components, including:
- Manufacturing and assembling bespoke cabinetry and joinery for superyacht interiors
- Working with marine plywood, lightweight core panels and other specialist materials
- Applying veneers and achieving high-quality finishes
- Using CNC machinery, workshop equipment and power tools
- Working with Corian and other composite or solid-surface materials
- Interpreting technical drawings, dimensions and job specifications
- Preparing, fitting and installing cabinetry and interior components for vessel fit-outs
- Working with drafting, production and installation teams to achieve accurate fits and finishes
Marine cabinetry requires careful planning, accurate measurements and a high standard of workmanship. You’ll help deliver interiors that meet the quality expectations of the superyacht industry.
What we’re looking for:
You’re a reliable, hands-on tradesperson who takes pride in producing quality work and can contribute both in the workshop and during installation.
You will ideally have:
- A cabinet-making qualification or strong relevant industry experience
- Experience in cabinet making, joinery, furniture making or a similar trade
- The ability to read and work accurately from technical drawings
- Good measuring, setting out and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience using workshop machinery, power tools and equipment
- A solid eye for detail and quality finishes
- A reliable, safety-conscious and positive approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Marine, yacht,
boatbuilding or other high-end custom joinery experience will be highly regarded.
Experience with CNC machining, veneer, Corian, lightweight panels or composite materials is an advantage.
Why Silver Yachts?
Build your skills in a specialist industry and work on interiors that are anything but ordinary.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work on luxury superyacht interior projects
- Manufacture bespoke cabinetry to a high standard
- Use marine-grade and specialist materials
- Develop your skills in CNC machining, veneer and advanced manufacturing
- Learn the requirements of marine interior fit-out
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople and production staff
- Be involved in varied, custom projects rather than repetitive production
- Build a long-term career in a specialised field
What we offer:
- Above Award rates
- Monthly RDO
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday–Friday workshop environment
- Immediate start available
- Modern, well-equipped Bibra Lake workshop
- Stable, ongoing workload
- Supportive team environment
- Long-term career opportunity
- Training and development in the marine industry
