We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Tailor to join our professional team at ALTER IT Carindale.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced tailor who takes pride in their craftsmanship, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and can confidently work with a wide range of garments and fabrics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform high-quality alterations on men's and women's clothing.
- Complete complex garment alterations, resizing and restyling.
- Specialise in formalwear, suits, dresses, bridalwear and delicate fabrics.
- Carry out precise garment fittings, measurements and adjustments.
- Operate industrial sewing machines, overlockers and pressing equipment.
- Maintain exceptional workmanship and meet customer deadlines.
- Work efficiently and independently in a busy retail alterations setting.
- Provide professional advice on garment fit, construction and alterations.

About You

Essential Requirements:

- Extensive professional experience in tailoring and clothing alterations.




- Advanced sewing skills and strong knowledge of garment construction.
- Experience working with formalwear, suits and complex alterations.
- Ability to complete alterations independently to a high standard.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Reliable, professional and passionate about tailoring.
