Freshwater Christian College is seeking a passionate, qualified Mathematics and Science teacher to join our secondary team full time, commencing in January 2027.

About the Role

As a Mathematics | Science Teacher, you will:

- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in Mathematics and Science across secondary year levels
- Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the Australian Curriculum
- Integrate a Christian worldview and biblical values into curriculum planning and classroom culture
- Support students’ pastoral care and wellbeing
- Contribute to co-curricular life through school events and activities
- Collaborate with a supportive team of educators committed to whole-person education

Essential criteria:

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching.
- Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain).
- Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.




- Able to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.
- Able to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
- Able to work with all members of the College community.
- A willingness to assist in extracurricular activities after normal working hours.
- Be legally permitted to work in Australia.
