Hills Eye Centre is a private Ophthalmology practice situated in Mount Barker. We pride ourselves on our guiding principles of Patient Care, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork and Passion. At the heart of all we do, our patients are our priority and you will be the first contact for our patients.

Due to expansion, we are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist as an addition to the existing team. The role will be three to four days per week.

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Front desk reception

- Answering phones

- Meet and greet patients

- Patient billing

- Theatre bookings

- Electronic record keeping

- Sending letters via electronic means

Essential Criteria:

- Minimum three years' medical reception experience

- Experience in specialist medical (especially ophthalmology, dermatology), dental,



optometry or general practice

- Experience with medical records systems, including Zedmed, Genie, Xestro

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

- Positive, qualified and enthusiastic attitude

- Ability to obtain police clearance

- Computer literacy

The successful applicant must have the ability to be flexible to work varying hours dependent on clinic need and to cover sick and annual leave.
