Fresh Food Industries Pty Ltd TIG Welder / Fabricator - Specialty Food Manufacturing Fresh Food Industries Pty Ltd Location: Cockburn Central, Perth WA 6164 Employment : Full-time Salary : $52 per hour superannuation (= $102, 752 super for a 38-hour per week position) About the Role Fresh Food Industries Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator-Welder to join our chocolate manufacturing facility near Cockburn Central, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for precision TIG welding, stainless steel fabrication and the installation of food-grade piping and associated components within our manufacturing facility. Previous TIG welding experience in the food manufacturing industry is essential.

Applicants without relevant food-grade welding experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities • Read and interpret drawings, specifications and fabrication plans to determine materials and fabrication requirements.

- Measure, mark out, cut, shape and prepare stainless-steel pipes, tubing and metal components for fabrication.
- Fabricate and assemble stainless-steel piping systems, pipe supports, brackets, machine guards and other components for food-processing equipment.
- Perform precision TIG welding on food-grade stainless-steel tubing in accordance with AS 1528 specifications and applicable welding standards.




- Inspect welded joints and completed fabrications to ensure dimensional accuracy, structural integrity and compliance with food hygiene requirements.
- Collaborate with the Factory Supervisor to plan piping layouts and determine fabrication and installation requirements.
- Assemble and install fabricated piping systems and associated components within the manufacturing facility.
- Maintain welding equipment, manage consumables and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.

Candidate

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in TIG welding and stainless steel fabrication for food-grade applications (a minimum of 12 months of full-time experience (or equivalent)).

- Relevant trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding or closely related field.
- Ability to produce precision welds that meet food manufacturing hygiene and quality requirements.
- Experience working with stainless steel piping systems and associated fittings.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and perform accurate fabrication and installation work.
- Solid attention to detail, quality and workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
