Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Test Engineer with hands-on experience in testing Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of mobile application testing, test case design, functional and regression testing, and mobile automation using Appium.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility testing of mobile applications.
- Test applications across Android and iOS devices, operating system versions, screen sizes, and device configurations.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium with Java.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
- Validate mobile application functionality, UI, navigation, notifications, permissions, and device-specific features.
- Perform API testing and backend validation to ensure end-to-end functionality.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira.
- Execute testing on real devices, emulators, and simulators.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, test reviews, and release validation.




- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in mobile application testing for Android and/or iOS.
- Knowledge of mobile testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
- Programming knowledge in Java or another suitable automation language.
- Understanding of Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks is an advantage.
- Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, emulators, and simulators.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with Jira, Agile/Scrum, and test management tools.
- Understanding of client-server architecture, REST APIs, and mobile application integrations.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud-based device testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience testing native, hybrid, and mobile web applications.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Experience with mobile performance, network connectivity, and security testing.
