KANG & GREWAL PTY LTD We are looking for a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanic with a few years of experience who wants steady work, a diverse workload and a supportive team. You will work on a broad mix of makes and models, use modern diagnostic equipment, and be trusted to take ownership of jobs from diagnosis through to final testing.

responsibilities Identify and diagnose faults in engines and related components Strip down and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems and other components, and inspect parts for wear or damage Repair or replace worn and faulty parts, and reassemble mechanical components, using service manuals and technical data where required Carry out scheduled servicing, including oil changes, lubrication and engine tune-ups,



to keep vehicles running smoothly and meeting emissions requirements Rebuild and reassemble engines and parts following repair Test and fine-tune repaired mechanical components to confirm correct operation Use computerised diagnostic equipment to test parts and identify faults Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness, issue roadworthy certificates where authorised, or outline the work needed to bring a vehicle to roadworthy standard Maintain, test and repair petrol engines and the mechanical systems of light vehicles, including transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes Qualification &

experience Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or an equivalent recognised qualification) 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a Motor Mechanic Confident using computer-based diagnostic tools Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety Able to work independently and as part of a team Current driver’s licence About Company KANG & GREWAL PTY LTD is a locally owned and operated automotive service and repair business, known in the community for honest advice, quality workmanship and dependable turnaround times.
