Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Native Mobile Developer with strong hands-on expertise in developing, enhancing, and maintaining native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience building high-performance, scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications while collaborating with designers, backend engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Develop iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and/or UIKit.
- Develop Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and/or Jetpack Compose.
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces following platform-specific design guidelines.
- Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
- Implement secure authentication, data storage, push notifications, and application analytics.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, resolve defects, and optimise application stability.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, backend developers, and QA engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Manage application releases and deployments through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Follow mobile security standards, coding best practices, and accessibility guidelines.

Essential Skills & Experience




- 5 years of experience in native mobile application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with iOS development using Swift and/or Android development using Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with SwiftUI/UIKit for iOS or Jetpack Compose/Android SDK for Android.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and lifecycle management.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and debugging tools.
- Understanding of mobile security, performance optimisation, and application scalability.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development practices.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Desirable Skills
- Experience developing applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Exposure to Firebase, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting.
- Experience with automated mobile testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of accessibility, offline capabilities, and secure local data storage.
- Experience with enterprise mobile applications and large-scale production environments.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a hands-on mobile developer with strong problem-solving skills, a focus on code quality, and the ability to deliver reliable mobile applications in a collaborative Agile setting.
