Client Service Officer - NSW State Government /n We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Client Service Officer for one of the leading NSW State Government teams based in Parramatta. /n This opportunity is ideal for candidates with solid customer service skills, experience supporting vulnerable individuals, a background in financial administration and/or community services. /n Role Details /n /n

- Contract: Initial 1-month contract with strong potential for extension

- Pay Rate: $40 per hour + super

/n

- Location: Parramatta NSW

- Hours: 35 hours per week

/n

- Work Arrangement: Full time in office role

/n /n About the Role /n You will support customers experiencing complex personal and financial circumstances by assisting with onboarding, financial administration, budgeting, customer enquiries, and ongoing support services while delivering empathetic and professional customer care. /n The customer base includes vulnerable individuals such as: /n /n

- NDIS participants

/n

- Customers in aged care

/n

- Young people previously in care

/n





- Adults living with disability

/n

- Customers with significant assets or property

/n /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Support customer financial management and action planning

/n

- Build rapport and understand individual customer needs

/n

- Conduct onboarding and triage customer complexity

/n

- Respond to enquiries and resolve issues professionally

/n

- Maintain accurate records and liaise with internal teams

/n

- Escalate complex matters where required

/n /n Essential Requirements /n /n

- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals

/n

- Finance background - had experience in managing finances before

/n

- Strong customer service and communication skills

/n

- Ability to manage sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism

/n

- Comfortable working within policies and compliance frameworks
