Role Description The Operations Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Lakewood, NSW, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and distribution activities to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment. This position manages operational workflows, including inventory control, inbound and outbound logistics, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Manager leads and develops team members, schedules and allocates resources, and monitors performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. The role also collaborates closely with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to support service levels, resolve operational issues,



and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management within fast-paced or distribution environments.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including team development, performance management, and effective delegation.
- Competence in inventory management, workflow planning, and resource scheduling, with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to analyze operational data, track KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance service and productivity.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and compliance in an on-site operational setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Proficiency with warehouse or ERP systems and general computer literacy (e.g., MS Office).
- Relevant qualification in operations management, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience in the foodservice or FMCG sector is an advantage.
