About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Optical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team at our Ascot, QLD 4007 location. This is a part-time role that will see you working closely with our experienced optical team to provide exceptional customer service and support in all aspects of our retail operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
2. Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries
3. Maintaining an organised and well-presented retail space
4. Performing administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
5. Arranging customer appointments and managing the diary
6. Providing basic optical advice and assistance to customers
7. Supporting the wider optical team as required

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the optical industry
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills
4. Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
5. A friendly, professional and enthusiastic attitude
6.



The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
