Healthy Young Minds (HYM) is a paediatric allied health clinic in Bundoora supporting children, adolescents and their families. We provide Psychology, Speech Pathology and Educational Therapy services and are looking to expand our multidisciplinary team with the addition of a Paediatric Dietitian.

We are seeking a warm, child-focused Dietitian to join HYM as a subcontractor for one day per week.

About the Role

You will work with children and adolescents presenting with a range of nutritional, developmental and feeding-related needs, which may include:

- Selective or restricted eating
- Feeding difficulties and food aversions
- Nutrition concerns associated with Autism and ADHD
- Sensory-related eating difficulties
- Nutritional adequacy and healthy growth
- Supporting families with mealtimes and food routines
- General paediatric nutrition concerns

- Opportunity to develop the Dietetics service within HYM

About You We are looking for someone who:
- Holds recognised qualifications in Dietetics
- Is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) or eligible for APD status
- Has experience or a strong interest in working with children and adolescents
- Is comfortable working with neurodivergent children and families
- Has excellent communication and family-centred practice skills
- Can work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team

Experience with Autism, ADHD, ARFID/selective eating, sensory-related feeding difficulties and NDIS participants would be highly regarded. As this is a subcontractor position, the successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain an ABN, appropriate professional indemnity insurance, Working with Children Check and other applicable professional and screening requirements.

Pay: From $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 6.0 per week
