About the Role/n

/nWe’re looking for a Paint Sales Specialist to join a well-established retail store in Melville. You’ll deliver exceptional service, provide specialist advice to both retail and trade customers, and help drive store sales. It’s a hands-on role where your trade experience and communication skills truly shine – helping clients choose the right products and achieve great results./n

- Base salary $65k + super

/n Key Responsibilities/n

- Deliver expert product, technical, and colour advice to retail and trade customers

/n

- Drive sales across the trade desk and retail floor

/n

- Assist with custom tinting, mixing, and color matching

/n

- Manage inventory, shelf stocking, merchandising, and store presentation

/n

- Maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment

/n

- Build lasting relationships with painters, builders, and DIY clients

/n About You/n

- Background in painting, trade, or paint retail (ideal for painters looking for a new direction)

/n

- Confident communicator with a sales-minded, customer-first approach

/n

- Strong problem-solving skills and technical product knowledge

/n

- Organised, reliable, and comfortable in a hands-on retail environment

/n

- Tech-savvy with basic POS or stock control experience

/n

- Current driver’s licence required
