Line Cook – The Plaza Hotel

Wednesday to Friday | [Casual / Part time] | [from $35 per hour]

The Plaza Hotel is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. If you know your way around the grill, pizza oven and fryer, and you thrive in a fast-paced service, we’d love to hear from you.

The venue is located on George Street in the CBD with great access to public transport!

About you

- At least 1–2 years’ experience working the line across all sections (grill, pizza and fryer)
- Reliable, and stays calm and focused under pressure
- A strong understanding of cleanliness, food hygiene and FIFO
- Happy to jump into prep and cleaning when it’s quiet
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help with other kitchen duties when needed

Shifts

- Wednesday: 12pm – 10pm
- Thursday: 12pm – 10pm
- Friday: 12pm – 10pm
