About The Role As a Casual Personal Care Assistant at Wattleglen, you will play an important role in supporting our residents to live a life well-lived through compassionate, person-centred care. Working closely with our nurses and wider care team, you'll provide practical and emotional support while helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include





- Providing personal care including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting residents with mobility and safe manual handling
- Assisting with meals, hydration, and daily living activities
- Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' health and wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
- Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate documentation
- Supporting residents to participate in activities and maintain their independence

About You

We're looking for a Personal Care Assistant who is compassionate, reliable, and passionate about supporting older people to live their best lives.

To Be Considered, You Will Have

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar role is desirable
- A genuine passion for providing quality care to older people
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- The ability to work across a variety of shifts
- An understanding of person-centred care
- Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain one
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to obtain one
