About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Brand new store at Blooms The Chemist in Liverpool, NSW on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified pharmacy professional to contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care and services to our community.

As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the protected and effective use of medications whilst providing expert clinical advice to patients and healthcare professionals.

What you'll be doing

- Dispensing medications accurately and safely in accordance with prescriptions and relevant legislation

- Providing advice to patients regarding medication use, potential side effects and interactions

- Conducting Medschecks and identifying potential therapeutic issues

- Collaborating with general practitioners and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes

- Ensuring compliance with all pharmacy legislation, regulations and professional standards

- Managing inventory and stock control of pharmaceutical products

- Contributing to the promotion of public health and disease prevention initiatives within the community

- Providing professional support to pharmacy staff and assisting with training where appropriate

What we're looking for

- Current General AHPRA registration without conditions

- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia

- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and clinical pharmacology





- Strong communication skills with the ability to counsel patients effectively and professionally

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of pharmacy practice

- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and computer technology

- Sound understanding of therapeutic guidelines and evidence-based practice

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

- Commitment to continuing professional development and maintaining current knowledge within the pharmacy field

- Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is desirable
