MY COMPOUNDING PHARMACY ROSELANDS
MORE THAN A JOB. AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW, LEARN AND MAKE AN IMPACT.
Experienced pharmacy staff wanted: People who take initiative, think independently and want to be part of something growing.
Are you ready to take your pharmacy career beyond the ordinary?
At My Compounding Pharmacy Roselands, you will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge, develop specialised skills and gain valuable hands-on experience across traditional pharmacy, compounding and personalised healthcare.
We are a modern, fast-growing compounding pharmacy working across an exciting range of healthcare areas, including dermatology and skincare, hormone health, longevity, gut health, personalised nutrition, paediatrics, men's and women's health, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, naturopathic medicine and functional healthcare.
Our environment offers variety, complexity and the opportunity to learn something new. Whether you are checking prescriptions, preparing specialised formulations, assisting customers or leading pharmacy operations, your work contributes to a bigger picture.
We want team members who bring experience, curiosity and initiative — people who enjoy learning, take ownership of their responsibilities, share ideas and look for ways to make things better.
We believe the best team members don't simply complete tasks. They understand their role, anticipate what needs doing, solve problems and help the entire team perform better.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions.
PHARMACY MANAGER
Lead with initiative. Build better systems. Drive the next stage of growth.
We are looking for an experienced, proactive pharmacy manager who can bring leadership, operational discipline and commercial thinking to a growing compounding pharmacy.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to take meaningful ownership of operations, develop people, improve systems and contribute to the future direction of the business.
Working closely with the owners, you will help coordinate the dispensary, compounding laboratory and naturopathic services, ensuring that people, stock, systems and daily priorities work together effectively.
We need someone who can see the bigger picture while remaining close enough to daily operations to recognise what needs attention.
Your responsibilities
Operational leadership
- Coordinate daily operations across the dispensary, compounding laboratory and related services.
- Manage staffing, rostering, task allocation and workload priorities.
- Monitor workflow, turnaround times and operational bottlenecks.
- Establish clear responsibilities and follow-up processes.
- Ensure the team has the systems and information needed to work efficiently.
People and culture
- Support staff development, accountability and effective communication.
- Lead by example and foster a skilled, friendly and collaborative workplace.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation.
- Encourage team members to take initiative, share knowledge and contribute improvements.
- Address operational issues constructively and ensure agreed actions are completed.
Quality and compliance
- Support compliance with applicable pharmacy, compounding and workplace requirements.
- Maintain robust operational procedures and documentation.
- Promote accuracy, consistency and patient safety across workflows.
- Identify risks, discrepancies and process weaknesses, escalating clinical or technical matters to the appropriate qualified personnel.
Inventory and commercial performance
- Oversee stock management across active pharmaceutical ingredients, compounding supplies and nutraceuticals.
- Improve purchasing, stock availability, inventory accuracy and waste control.
- Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary delays, duplication and avoidable costs.
- Contribute to business performance monitoring, service development and sustainable growth.
- Work with the owners to evaluate ideas and implement practical improvements.
COMPOUNDING TECHNICIANS
Develop specialised technical skills. Master precision. Take pride in the quality of your work.
If you enjoy technical work, problem-solving and learning how things work, compounding offers the opportunity to develop a specialised skill set in pharmaceutical preparation.
For someone who is curious, meticulous and motivated to improve, this is an opportunity to build valuable technical expertise.
The Position
- Prepare compounded medications, including creams, capsules, troches and suspensions.
- Accurately weigh, measure, mix and process pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Develop familiarity with active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients and formulation techniques.
- Follow approved procedures and maintain accurate batch and preparation documentation.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and a clean, organised working environment.
- Support quality assurance and identify discrepancies before they become problems.
- Gain exposure to specialised formulations across areas such as dermatology, hormone health and gut health.
- Work with pharmacists to support safe, accurate and efficient compounding operations.
What success looks like
You will help build a pharmacy that runs in a more coordinated, consistent and efficient manner.
Responsibilities are clear. Staff understand their priorities. Work areas remain organised. Stock is controlled. Issues are identified early. Processes are reviewed and improved. The team maintains high professional standards while delivering a positive customer experience.
You will be expected to measure what can be measured, identify the causes of recurring problems and follow through on solutions rather than repeatedly working around the same issues.
Who we are looking for
You have proven pharmacy management experience and the ability to lead people, coordinate competing priorities and manage day-to-day operations.
You are self-motivated, commercially aware and comfortable making decisions within your authority. You can work independently while maintaining clear communication with the owners.
You do not simply report problems , you investigate them, develop practical solutions and take responsibility for implementation.
You understand that effective leadership involves setting expectations, supporting the team, monitoring performance and creating an environment in which people can do their best work.
Experience in compounding and integrative healthcare is advantageous. We value the ability to learn specialised operations, apply knowledge effectively and translate business objectives into practical daily systems.
Why join us?
- Work closely with the owners and contribute to operational and business strategy.
- Take meaningful responsibility for improving workflow, systems and team performance.
- Help develop pharmacy services and support the growth of a specialist healthcare business.
- Apply your leadership and commercial skills in a varied, hands-on environment.
- Contribute to a business where initiative, accountability and practical results matter.
