Gunn & McConville Pharmacy is owner-operated and one of Melbourne’s leading medication management providers to the aged care industry.

Centrally located in Balwyn North, we service all areas of metropolitan Melbourne.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Qualified Services team.

In this role, you will conduct regular and comprehensive medication and medication chart audits across our aged care facilities three (3) days per week. You will visit facilities on a rotating basis, completing audits tailored to the individual needs of each client and preparing clear, accurate reports based on your findings.

Gunn & McConville Pharmacy embraces the safe and effective use of technology, allowing flexibility to work from home on certain days of the week.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

- Conducting comprehensive medication and medication chart audits at scheduled facility visits.

- Preparing accurate and detailed reports based on audit findings.

- Providing a high level of customer service to our clients.

- Building and maintaining positive relationships with aged care staff, allied health professionals and other key stakeholders.

- Assisting with the transition and onboarding of new pharmacy service clients.

- Managing your workload effectively and ensuring all audits and reporting requirements are completed within required timeframes.

About You:





The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience in Pharmacy - experience working with aged care providers an advantage.

- Demonstrated attention to detail in work practice

- Interpersonal and problem-solving skills

- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload

- Timely and effective oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to work autonomously

- Computer literacy -proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (and FRED Dispense software preferred but not essential).

And finally, in this role, to be successful, you will also need:

- Driver's License & access to a roadworthy and insured vehicle.

- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
