About the role The purpose of this role is to participate in warehouse operations and activities. Pick Packer responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and quality checking. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Accurately picking and packing customer orders in accordance with picking instructions and quality standards

- Working in a temperature-controlled coolroom environment ranging from 1.5°C to 10°C

- Safely stacking, wrapping and securing pallets for dispatch

- Sorting,



grading and inspecting fresh fruit and vegetables to ensure product quality

- Identifying and reporting damaged, defective or unsuitable products

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

- Performing general warehouse cleaning and housekeeping duties

- Handling, lifting and moving cartons and produce in accordance with secure manual handling practices

- Assisting with stock rotation and ensuring appropriate product handling procedures are followed

- Supporting other warehouse and dispatch activities as required to meet operational demands

About you

- Minimum 12 months' experience in warehouse order picking

- Physically fit to safely perform manual handling tasks, including but not limited to lifting boxes, in line with workplace health and safety standards

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds

- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

- Previous experience handling or picking fresh fruit and vegetables will be highly regarded

- Desirable: Industry experience in food service/hospitality
