- Stream B, Level 4-5 - $66,152.15 to 67,186.44 per annum
- Maranoa locality allowance $72.00 per fortnight
- Work a 9-day fortnight with a Rostered Day Off.

Explore Your Opportunity Position 1: Town and Surrounds

Help keep Surat looking its best! You'll contribute to the upkeep of town entrances, streets, parks, gardens and open spaces, helping create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.





Your work will include

- Mowing, slashing, weed control, spraying, pruning, irrigation and landscaping.
- Maintaining streets, footpaths, culverts, gutters and drainage systems.
- Collecting litter and completing general town maintenance.
- Operating and maintaining Council plant, machinery, tools and equipment.
- Supporting community projects and working alongside teams across Council services, including waste, facilities, cemeteries and airport operations.

Position 2: Rural Roads Projects Enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team that keeps our rural communities connected. Help deliver road construction, maintenance and improvement projects that support the region's residents, businesses and industries.

Your work will include

- Assisting with the construction and maintenance of sealed and unsealed roads.
- Operating and maintaining plant, machinery, tools and equipment.
- Completing daily servicing and safety checks.
- Undertaking general labouring, site preparation and clean-up.
- Setting up and maintaining traffic control signage in line with approved plans.
- Helping maintain Council roads and other important community assets.
