Job Title: Platform/DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of recent features and updates.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in all deployment processes.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on call rotations to support production systems.

Golden Paths & Standardized Delivery

Creates opinionated, reusable building blocks such as service templates, CI/CD pipeline primitives, Kubernetes baselines, and observability packages with clear upgrade and escape hatch strategies.

Self Service & GitOps Automation

Enables teams through APIs, CLIs, and GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD), reducing manual approvals and support load while maintaining guardrails.

Containers & Multi Tenant Kubernetes Platforms





Deep understanding of containerized workloads, Helm based deployments, and platform level Kubernetes controls for isolation, quotas, and scalability across many teams.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong knowledge and hands on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database management and optimization.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert) are a plus.
