- Undertaking thorough functional behaviour assessments.
- Developing detailed Positive Behaviour Support Plans and interim support plans, ensuring they are person-centred, culturally appropriate and tailored to the needs of implementers.
- Implementing strategies that effectively reduce the frequency and duration of behaviours of concern and prevent the need for restrictive practices. This includes coaching others in ethical and least-restrictive approaches.
- Liaising and collaborating with allied health professionals, participants' families and/or carers to address individual participant needs and achieve their goals.

- Monitoring and reporting on participant progress towards NDIS goals and the therapeutic impacts of behaviour support strategies.
- Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of reportable incidents, analysing situations and making recommendations to minimise the risk of further incidents.
- Demonstrating a commitment to continual learning and contributing to the culture of the organisation by upholding its values and mission.
- Assisting in the establishment and development of new curricula, programs, pathways and company policies related to Positive Behaviour Support.
- Maintaining detailed and coherent case notes using the organisation's electronic clinical records system.
- Delivering organisation-wide education and training programs.
