As Practice Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of our clinic — keeping the front desk, clinical team, and business side running smoothly so our dentists can focus on patient care. You'll play a key role in shaping the patient experience, supporting staff, and driving the practice's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, and front-desk management

· Lead, motivate, and support our reception and dental assistant team

· Manage recruitment, onboarding, rostering, and staff performance

· Handle budgeting, billing, and financial reporting, including health fund and Medicare/CDBS processes

· Ensure compliance with dental industry regulations, infection control, and workplace health & safety standards

· Manage supplier relationships and stock/inventory control

· Monitor and improve patient satisfaction, online reviews, and community reputation





· Support marketing initiatives and local promotions to help grow the patient base

· Liaise with the practice owner/dentists on strategic planning and business goals

What We're Looking For

· Proven experience as a Practice Manager, ideally within a dental or allied health setting

· Strong leadership and people-management skills

· Solid understanding of dental software (e.g., Dental4Windows, Exact, or Praktika), health fund systems, and Medicare/CDBS billing

· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities

· A warm, skilled manner with patients and staff alike

· Sound financial and reporting acumen

· A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
