About the Position

Family Health Care Mackay Rural View, is a 7-day clinic, home to 8 GPs and a professional team of Nurses and Receptionists. The modern clinic boasts eight full-size consulting rooms and a spacious treatment room with state-of-the-art medical equipment.

We are currently seeking a Practice Nurse (Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse) to support our thriving clinic on a Casual basis.

About You

- Relevant experience as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
- GP Experience will be highly regarded!

- Current AHPRA registration

- Flexibility to work on a casual basis, including weekends from time to time (weekend hours are 8am-2pm only)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong computer literacy

- Ability to pick up additional shifts as required (annual leave, sick leave cover etc.)

The Practice Nurse will:

- Be willing to learn and work as a team to provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required

- Participate in Quality Improvement Activities

- Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines




- A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to benefit patients, staff, and the wider group

- Have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills and attention to detail
