Bring your clinical expertise to a role where you can influence practice and improve outcomes for older people across Uniting.

We’re looking for an experienced Practice Specialist – Skin Health, Wound and Continence Management to join our Nursing and Clinical Governance team. You’ll provide specialist clinical expertise, coaching and practice leadership across Seniors Services, with a focus on wound management, pressure injury prevention, skin health and continence.

Working alongside our service delivery teams, you’ll help embed contemporary, evidence-informed practice, strengthen clinical decision-making and build workforce capability. You’ll also contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance and innovative models of care, including the use of virtual technology to support remote wound assessment.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and significant clinical leadership or specialist practice experience, ideally with expertise in wound management and pressure injury prevention.

You’ll bring strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, along with the ability to coach, influence and translate clinical evidence into practical improvements in care.

Relevant postgraduate qualifications and professional memberships, such as Wounds Australia, will be highly regarded.

Why Uniting?

This is a great opportunity to take your specialist clinical knowledge beyond individual care and influence practice across a large and diverse aged care organisation.
