QuickCare is proudly partnering with a warm, community-focused early learning service in Coogee to find an experienced and passionate Preschool Room Leader to guide their 3–5 year olds as they get ready for school.

Tucked away in the heart of Coogee, just moments from the beach, this boutique early learning service is a place where children, families and educators genuinely feel at home. It has built a robust reputation in the local community for its nurturing atmosphere, high-quality care and the close, trusting relationships it shares with families.

The service believes children learn best through play, curiosity and connection. Educators are encouraged to bring their own ideas, passions and creativity into the programme, and are trusted to make meaningful decisions about how they teach.

About the Role

As Preschool Room Leader, you’ll inspire and lead a dedicated team of educators while creating a rich, engaging programme for the preschool children. You’ll:

- Plan, implement and evaluate a play-based educational programme in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (V2.0)

- Lead, mentor and support educators in your room, modelling best practice every day

- Prepare children for a confident transition to school

- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families





- Maintain accurate documentation and observations

- Contribute to the service’s Quality Improvement Plan and uphold the National Quality Standard

- Ensure a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children

About You

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved) or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

- Proven experience as a Room Leader, ideally in a preschool room

- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Education and Care Services National Regulations

- Current NSW Working With Children Check

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates

- Child Protection training
- A positive, organised leader who communicates well with children, families and colleagues
