Brunel Energy Pty Ltd The successful candidate will be employed by Brunel Energy and assigned to support the technical delivery of asset preservation and corrosion protection projects at client sites. This is a hands-on technical leadership role involving VCI systems, protective coatings, shrink-wrap containment and other asset protection methods. The role will lead site teams, assess client assets and develop practical preservation solutions from initial assessment through to project completion.

responsibilities • Plan and lead asset preservation and corrosion protection activities at client sites.

- Assess asset condition, type and exposure environment.
- Determine and implement appropriate preservation methodologies.
- Deliver and oversee VCI systems, protective coatings and shrink-wrap containment.
- Conduct site surveys, asset condition assessments and inspections.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to preservation technicians.
- Prepare technical scopes of work, estimates and quotations.
- Respond to client requests for quotation and develop fit-for-purpose preservation solutions.
- Liaise with client representatives and internal stakeholders regarding technical and project requirements.
- Ensure work complies with relevant standards, specifications and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project, inspection and job documentation.
- Provide technical input during project planning, execution and handover. Qualification &





experience • Demonstrated experience in asset preservation, corrosion protection or a related industrial discipline.

- Practical experience with VCI technology, protective coatings and/or shrink-wrap containment systems.
- Experience in mining, energy, oil and gas, marine, heavy industrial or similar environments.
- Experience leading site teams and supervising technical personnel.
- Ability to assess asset conditions and recommend suitable preservation methods.
- Experience preparing technical scopes, quotations or responses to client RFQs.
- Strong client liaison and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and technical compliance.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate technical and project documentation. A relevant trade qualification, certificate, diploma or other formal qualification in engineering, materials, corrosion, industrial technology or a related discipline will be highly regarded. Relevant industry experience may also be considered.
