About the opportunity:

Join our team in office in Somerton, Vic. We are seeking 2 Print Finishing Machine Operators to join our team, with opportunities available on both day shift and afternoon shift.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be an integral member of the Production team.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Operate a range of finishing/print converting equipment safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets.

- Set up and prepare machines, tooling, and materials to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.

- Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring finished labels and packaging products meet customer specifications.

- Troubleshoot machine and production issues, implementing corrective actions and performing basic preventative maintenance where required.

- Accurately complete production records and documentation while maintaining material and product traceability.

- Work closely with team members across Printing, Finishing, Quality, and Production to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.

- Contribute to all aspects of the manufacturing process,



including Quality, Safety, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), housekeeping, and environmental standards.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

- Experience working within a Labels, Print, Packaging, or Manufacturing environment.

- Previous experience operating finishing, print converting, slitting, rewinding, die-cutting, seaming, inspection, or similar manufacturing equipment. Or if you have experience in a production environment, and are eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve minor machine issues.

- Demonstrated planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

- A team-focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments.

- The ability to work autonomously and remain self-motivated in a fast-paced production environment.

- A commitment to workplace safety and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
